Tania Reese
by Abel
Tania, you are such a beautiful girl. I love your features and your eyes are so beautifully colored. Your stylist did a fine job with your hair and makeup and your photographer did an excellent job with a unique background and pretty lighting. However, your pose is what knocked this one down a few pegs. You look bored in this shot. There is no real energy in your eyes. You look…like you’d rather be elsewhere. Fierce poses in modeling have a lot to do with facial expression and especially so when you’re in a headshot competition. Keep that in mind next round.
|
You look great here, Tania, but you also look a little bored. I like the idea your team attempted to get across, but I don’t think it worked out so well. I’m not a huge fan of the background. It doesn’t flatter you, and makes you kind of seem less important. Try having your crew backgrounds that express you more, rather than drowning you out. I do like your makeup and basic styling, so keep up the good work.

Amara Hudson
by Abillings
Excellent work, Amara. You have a great expression on your face and your stylist did a stellar job with your makeup and hair. You look like you’re a rocker ready for a show – but not just a musician. You also look like a model and that’s a great blending. Keep up the excellent work – maybe just tell your editor or lighting crew to really play with some shading and more creative lighting next time.
|
Gorgeous Amara! You have a great look going on here, and I think your crew did great. I like the red lipstick, makes everything pop a bit! The look in your eyes is what gives me the fierceness, so keep that up. The only thing is that the lighting is a little boring, so maybe have your crew take a little risk here and there? Nice job.

Gwen Diamond
by Aestas
Gwen, you’re a gorgeous woman with some very beautiful features – especially your cheekbones! I think that it was creative of you to pose with your hands – it adds a little something to the whole idea and makes your photo more interesting. The issue I have is the distance your photographer took the shot. This is a headshot competition, and usually we will specify how close (I know I forgot to do that this round, so it’s not entirely your fault) but this wasn’t exactly a headshot. There was a lot to look at that detracted from your model’s beautiful face and interesting expression.
|
This is pretty! I really like the uniqueness of it, Gwen. Your team seems to have a good idea on creativity, so good! I like the unique styling, as well as the broken eye contact. It doesn’t necessarily always work, but its not too bad here. My two main complaints here is the lesser quality and the lack of depth. Try some lighting to help that!

Laurie Hillz
by BobSkellington
That eye makeup is STUNNING, Laurie! Your stylist should get some massive props for that combination. The lipstick could have used a little more definition so we could see your lips rather than a black heart-shaped bit of color on your face. The eye contact you’re giving is great and I adore your eyes. You do look a little sad, rather than fierce, but overall, this isn’t a bad entry.
|
Laurie, you are pretty! I like your makeup a ton, but I don’t think the black lipstick worked out for me here. I don’t really see any fierceness here. I think your crew did well with lighting and styling though. So try to be a little fiercer, good job!

Clarissa Carlioni
by Gitte
Your eyes are stunning, your expression (at least in the eye region) is great, and your overall styling is okay. It could be a little more high fashion. My only real complaint is with the lighting. It is far, far, far too dark and doesn’t do your beautiful skintone any favors.
|
I am liking the look in your eyes! Really fierce here! I like the colors as well, they complement you beautifully. I like the simplicity and your crew nailed that look down. My only complaint is the lighting. I’m not a huge fan of the tone I’m getting off this. I’m not sure if it’s a filter or not, but it feels overpowering and a bit dark. Overall, good job.

Skye Melendez
by Heather
Skye, you look like a high-end queen. What the heck does that mean? Well, quite frankly, your accessories look like those straight out of a very expensive magazine, your makeup is beautifully done and chic, and your expression also exudes that upper-class snobbery thing. That definitely works well for a fashion headshot. I liked this photo, but as far as creativity and really nailing the assignment, I don’t think this was quite up to par. Really push yourself next round.
|
Skye, you look gorgeous and I adore the necklace that the team picked out for you! Your makeup is good, and I like the styling. However this fell a tad short for me. I don’t quite see fierceness in this, and your editor could have cropped you a bit more to really fill that empty space on the right. However, it is a nice picture, so good job.

Hannah Barnett
by Jendow
Blue is a good color on you, Hannah. Here’s the thing…this photo, while nicely put-together and you are posed great, is reminiscent of those old school glamour shots that we all look back on now and chuckle at. I think it has a lot to do with the blank stare, bright pink lips, and old-school hairstyle you have going on. It’s not terrible, or anything, but not quite what we were looking for. Your expression isn’t all that fierce – it comes off more as bored, HOWEVER…your team still did well.
|
I like the casual-feeling of this. I think the blue looks great on you, Hanna, it makes everything pop. Your crew did a decent job here, and I’m impressed. You didn’t go with a straight-on angle, and it didn’t quite work, but it does have some fierceness to it. You look determined and your styling is great. Well done.

Victoria Venice
by Jojo
Wow, Victoria…your team knocked this one out of the ballpark. You look amazing here. No joke, you have excellent eye contact, fierceness that exudes out your pores, stellar makeup, a creative use of your hands, AND awesome dynamic lighting. I don’t have any complaints here!
|
Victoria, you look fierce! I think this is spot on for the assignment given. Your crew did a fabulous job with your makeup and styling. Your posing and lighting is very well done as well. I like majority of this picture and I’m not sure I would change anything, so good first impression!
|
Alexis Ross
by Maggie
You are still so stunning, Alexis. Your photos really hardly ever cease to amazing me. Your eye contact here is stunning and your pouty lips really add some depth to an otherwise very simple photo. That being said, I wish you were smirking a bit more. We have a beautifully-lit blank stare.
|
Alexis! (It is good to see you back around!) I like the feel to this. You look drop-dead gorgeous. Your makeup crew did a great job, and I like the simplicity. I also wanna give a shout out to your lighting crew for adding some depth in there! My only complaint here is the lack of fierceness that I’m getting. I see this more as a blank stare, rather than fierce expression/look. Overall, nice job.

Airi Azumi
by MissBirdie
Hmm…You are gorgeous and I think that your pose sort of worked, but with the angle and lack of eye contact, it falls short. It makes the whole image just a tad awkward and not so fierce as we’d hoped. I love the lighting, your styling, and your beautiful eyes, but I think this was a bit of a miss this round. Bring it back next round.
|
I like this to some extent, Airi. You look great, your team did great, and everything is nicely done. I think the pose is fierce, but it would work better if you were looking at us. We could see your eyes and get a better expression across. I also think the pose is a little awkward for the kind of angle you have, so try messing with it a bit more. Nice job, though.
|
Baylee Jefferson
by Mizzie
Oooh, nicely done, team Baylee! Your eye contact is fabulous and the use of your hand the way you did was perfect. It adds creativity to the photo without detracting from the overall shot. Your eyes are gorgeous, by the way. The closeness of this photo is also very good for a headshot competition. Nicely done.
|
Baylee, I love this. You are a gorgeous model and I think you shine in this photo. I like your pose, it’s unique, but also fierce, as well as your expression. I think your makeup crew did great, and I don’t have much to complain on here. I do wish that maybe you got a little riskier with the lighting though, maybe some shadows? Well done though.

Angela Marlow
by Nshipp
You do look nice, Angela, but I think this missed the mark, unfortunately. There is a lot of blue in this – a bit too much of it. Your hair was just enough – I think less blue in your makeup and the background would have made this a much more appealing shot. Right now, your team went a little overboard with the color. The pose could have worked, but the camera angle made it a little off because of your lack of eye contact. It was a good try. Really try to push yourself next round and get your team to think outside the box!
|
You look nice, Angela. I like the idea your team had here, but I don’t think it quite came across. The blue is a bit too much, especially with it being everywhere. I also think there is no depth and very little fierceness. Try to focus a little more on eye contact (when necessary, in this case, very helpful). A little bit can go a long way!
|
Emily Thomas
by Penguin
Wow! You are a stunner, Emily…seriously. You have beautiful eyes! I love this photo to pieces as a standalone headshot. Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite fit the assignment requirements. You look afraid – beautifully afraid – but afraid and not fierce :-( Maybe if you had smirked instead of parted your lips just so, you might have looked more fierce. Think about all aspects of your beautiful face when creating images with specific requirements.
|
Emily, I think you are absolutely gorgeous, but I see no fierceness here. You look very scared or frightened, or even surprised. I like the makeup and styling your crew did, but you have almost no color. Try getting a little more creative, and good luck! I can’t wait to see what you have in store next.

Elena Cook
by Qwib
This is such a fun photo. Your expression is so fun and I LOVE the lighting on this. Give props to your editor for making this image pop! Here’s the hiccup – you look fun, beautiful, and awesome, but not really fierce. I know that is a tricky word that means something different for everyone, but overall it doesn’t quite fit what we were looking for.
|
I like your teams approach on this, Elena! You have great looks and they are showcased here. I like the styling and everything about this, except for the pose. Your styling comes off as fierce, but the posing changes the whole picture for me. However, you still look great so good job.
|
Marlee Matson
by SimsORIGfan
Hmm…you are a gorgeous girl, Marlee. You have beautiful eyes and that hair color is awesome! Unfortunately, I think you and your photographer kind of dropped the ball in the fierce department. Your pose choice wasn’t the best. You really look shocked or caught off-guard. You don’t look fierce – you kind of remind me of a doll here. Your photographer also cropped so tight – which normally I love – but in this case it doesn’t do your face any favors – maybe it’s because of the pose. Anyway, gorgeous quality photo, you are stunning – so I know that you can really step it up next round.
|
Marlee, I think you’re very pretty! I like your scheme here with the colors, and I like the styling that your team did. Your makeup is great. I do wish there was some more fierceness in this though. You look more surprised that anything. Nice job for a first assignment though!

Haeju Sorenson
by Strawberrigurl
Love your makeup, love your hair, LOVE that necklace. Here’s the thing, though…this is an awkward angle. You aren’t looking directly into the camera. It’s as if your photographer stood above you just a bit and took a downward angle of you. Unfortunately, it doesn’t really send a fierce or high fashion message. Get creative with your poses for future rounds!
|
You look great, Haeju. I definitely get fierce by looking at this. I think your crew did great overall, especially with the look and style. My only complaint is that it is a bit too bright and soft colored for my liking (considering it being fierce), but besides that, well done.
|
Amara Queen
by Vana
Amara, you are a stunner. I love your hair and am envious of your piercing eyes. You do look fierce, but you are almost verging on angry. Make sure to stay away from anger! That being said, the lighting and everything else about this image is very good. I give you and your team props.
|
I adore that look you got going on here, Amara. Your stylist did great, and I really like the play on lighting. I also like the expression as well as the pose. If anything, I feel like the necklace is a tad too much with the kind of neckline you have going on, but overall, not bad at all.
