Tania Reese

I like the idea your team had here. A corpse bride is always a safe bet for Halloween and one of my favorite movies. The makeup is done well, the cracked skin is a nice touch, and your flower headpiece is nice. The veil looks fake – did your editor add it in last minute? The issue I have with this shot is your pose. You look caught in the middle of something and it doesn’t make a very finished look. I would have loved to see you making a more sinister expression and eye contact.
|
I like the theme here! I think your crew did good with sticking to it. However, the makeup is really heavy and everything looks a little thrown together. Many spots are either over-sharpened or very blurry. The makeup is alright, but I don’t think it suits you. It overpowers you if anything. However, all these things can be improved! Take some time for you and your crew to practice a little more.

Amara Hudson
by Abillings
I like the traditional witch theme here, Amara. I love that makeup too. Your pose even works well and could definitely serve to be a great headshot. Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of the hat. It looks awkwardly placed upon your head and there is no depth to it. I actually looks very flat and lacking definition. The spider, in my opinion, was nicely done, but it is a bit better quality than the rest of the image. Your team did well, but there were some areas that could have been better.
|
This is nice! You went very simple and you look nice. I like the styling, as well as the makeup. I see it as classic halloween. The expression is very high-fashioned and fits well. My complaints here would be the spider placement and the hat. Both look out of a place and need to be blended better. A filter, shadows, and angling could help with the hat, as well as the spider. Have your crew practice a tad more and keep up the good work!

Laurie Hillz
by BobSkellington
Ooooh, Medusa!! I love that idea and I think you and your team NAILED the styling. Your makeup is phenomenal – I can’t get over how great the effect around your eyes look, Laurie! You really do look great. Here’s my only complaint – your pose is far to sweet for Medusa. This kind of makes me think of a school photo Medusa had taken when she was a teen – before she became a serious threatening creature. I would have loved to see a more sinister expression or even just something more interesting going on in the background. Utilize that excellent claw finger rather than hiding it in a clenched fist.
|
I adore this! I love the route you went with and your crew pulled it off nicely. It’s very different and creative, so kudos to your team with that. The filter is okay, I’m not the biggest fan, but everything matches and blends into it. I like the makeup, probably one of my favorite parts. I think you did good here, it’s just a little over-sharpened in some areas!

Clarissa Carlioni
by Gitte
Wow, Clarissa. This is a great shot. I adore the whole idea and your team really did a great job of keeping things fashionable while also being eerie. The green accents were nice and the lighting was really stellar for this kind of shot. I love your eyes too! The only complaint is the super dark shadow on her face – simply because it hides the skull makeup, but honestly…this is fabulous so great work!
|
Definitely one of my favorites this round! You nailed high fashion and you look suitable for halloween. I like the whole look here. Your makeup crew did great, your styling is nice, and the background is very suitable. I like the effects your editing crew did, they accentuate the whole picture. My only complaint here would be the eye. It’s a little too glowy for my liking, but it’s minor! Nice job!

Hannah Barnett
by Jendow
Is that even you Hannah? You look like a completely different person…like really different….any way I like that your team did a dress-up theme that isn’t spooky. Not everything has to be doom and gloom in regards to Halloween, so great job. I like the hair color on you and I think that the makeup was done nicely. I just can’t get over the fact that this doesn’t even look like you – make sure that your team doesn’t change too many of your features that you become a totally different person.
|
This is definitely a different route here! It’s very fairy’like for me and not everything has to be spooky! I do wish there was just a little more indication that it was halloween-ish though. I like the fantasy look on you, it looks good. I think your makeup is nicely done, as well as the styling. Everything blends together nicely here. Not bad!

Victoria Venice
by Jojo
I love the darkness here contrasted with your beautifully colored hair. Red is my favorite and you really pull it off, Victoria. I also love all of the creepy spiders crawling all over your face and your makeup was done so beautifully – that smudge effect is great! Your hand looks a little awkward and out of proportion, but overall, I like this shot a lot. It’s very much high fashion. Great work.
|
You look good here! It has the high-fashion and halloween element to it, although a little less on the halloween. My only representation that I get is the spiders, and not all of them really fit into the picture much. They are a little shy on looking they belong. However, the makeup is nice and I like the concept of the styling. I think it’s cute and not a bad entry at all.

Alexis Ross
by Maggie
Your eye contact is phenomenal, Alexis. I love that look – you really look powerful and as if you are a queen of something. Your accessories are great and your styling is phenomenal – you look very high fashion. I do have to say, however, your horns could have been bigger or more prominent. I honestly didn’t see them at first. They blend into your hair and are very small. Other than that, I think your team rocked this assignment.
|
I like the simplicity here. You look stunning, and your crew did good. Your makeup is spot on, and I like the little accessories, especially those horns. I like the lighting effect your crew did here, it’s very subtle but noticeable. There are a few places where there is a little bit of clipping as well as a lighting difference near the hair, but it’s a great entry!

Baylee Jefferson
by Mizzie
Ooooh, Baylee, you look like a seriously cool vixen here. You remind me of a succubus! I ADORE that eye makeup – like really nice job to your makeup artist – and the golden horns are really a nice touch. They are different than the typical black or creepy ones. You really did a great job here and your team did a nice job of putting everything all together.
|
You look great here, Baylee. Your crew did amazing with nailing the high fashion mark, as well as the halloween. Your makeup is gorgeous, and your accessories are very fitting. I applaud your editing crew for all the little touchups. You blend very well into the background as it’s suitable for this shot. The quality is a little low in some places, like the lips, but besides that, amazing job!

Angela Marlow
by Nshipp
Unfortunately, this one didn’t hit the mark for me. It appears rushed and there are lots of places that need work. Your blue hair is nice and your eye contact is great – but the blood spatter…the teeth…the eye makeup, the quality of the image overall..all could use some work. I like the idea – vampires are a great choice – but the teeth are really obviously drawn and drawn very close together, but the blood spatter is where I really noticed the issue. The brush your editor used has an edge and it’s obvious in this shot that there’s a square corner. I almost think that this would have been loads better without that blood spatter at all.
|
I think this fell a little short for me. Your crew’s work fell a little bland this round. Everything just looks plastered on here, especially the blood. Your editor looks like he drew the teeth, due to the imperfections at the bottom of the point. I think if you blended everything more, this would have been a stronger entry.

Emily Thomas
by Penguin
Overall, the quality is pretty low here. There’s a lot of blackness that has no depth and I wish you had worn something different – maybe even a red dress? Something to give us less black empty space. Your stylist did great with your hair and makeup, though. I do have one question though…are your teeth blue? Anyway, your team did pretty well and this definitely gives a Halloween vibe. Good work.
|
Emily, I like the subtleness here. You look entranced and peaceful, yet halloween-ish. This is what gives it the high-fashion look in my eyes. I like your styling and makeup. The editing was nicely done here. I think you could have done without the gloves in this, the quality isn’t the greatest and it’s hard to distinguish your fingers. However, nicely done for sure!

Elena Cook
by Qwib
Overall, yes, this is a great Halloween shot. You are styled nicely, there’s an interesting background, and you have a creepy spider as well. Unfortunately, that’s not enough for me. Your expression is far from high fashion and I don’t think the spider coming from your mouth was a good choice. I would have loved to see it crawling on your shoulder and you giving a much more menacing expression that remained with the creepy theme, but also had that high fashion vibe to it.
|
You definitely put the spook factor into this picture! Spiders terrify me. You really nailed the halloween part, but I feel you fell just a tad short of high-fashion with the expression, mostly. You crew did a good job here, with the styling, makeup, and editing. The lighting is nice and subtle. I think you did a fair job here!

Marlee Matson
by SimsORIGfan
Marlee, you are a gorgeous girl and you really do well with changing up your look. Red hair, blue hair, any of it looks nice on you. Your makeup artist did well with the eye makeup and I do really like your contacts. The moths were also a nice touch, but here’s the thing…this feels very blah overall. Your editor oversharpened your image and it really makes for poor quality – which I know your team doesn’t have – and your expression is identical to the previous assignment. We want to see versatility in YOU as much as we see it in your styling.
|
This is cute, but it’s a tad hard to find many things I like. I like the eye makeup, but everything blends together a little bit much. You are beautiful, and this kind of takes away from that a little. You look a little dull, and everything is really over-sharpened, so make sure your editor is careful with that! The moths are just out there, and stick out a little too much. The background is also a little blurry. However, don’t let these discourage you or your team, everything becomes better with practice!

by Strawberrigurl
Give your makeup artist serious high fives from me, will ya? Your eye makeup is perfect. It’s so alluring and mystical – your eyes are stellar too. I think this has a definite high fashion vibe to it and still looks like you’re dressed up for Halloween. The only issue I have is this – when picking a background color, pick something that works, but doesn’t 100% match a big item your model is wearing (clothing, hair, and in your case, the headpiece). Having the exact same color background detracts from the detail in your headpiece. I wish this were a silver background because silver is prominent in your photo, but it would allow your headpiece to shine.
|
I think this is cute. I absolutely love your makeup here. I think that would be my favorite part and your crew did great with it. The styling here is nice too. I like the headpiece, however the quality of it is a tad lower than everything else. The spider looks a little out of place too. Maybe try adding some shadows for depth or placing it differently? Your crew did a fair job!

Amara Queen
by Vana
I love pirates and adore this shot. You look playful, cute, and still high fashion. Your setting is great and your overall look really does rock. The heart does appear to be a bit more fake than everything else, but I really did enjoy this. My only complaint here – the darkness of the shot – ONLY because there is really no detail to the hat. I can see there are feathers and some sequins, but I would have loved more detail and more overall depth to the prop.
|
I am really liking the theme here. It suits you nicely and I think you got the highfashion and halloween part down. I like the styling as well as the makeup. It’s all suitable and I think your crew did great. My biggest complaint here is the hat and the heart. The quality of them both kind of turn me away from fully liking this picture. It stands out a tad too much when the focus should be on you. but, decent entry!
