Amara Hudson

Oy! I love the attempt. Your team nailed the color scheme with the setting – and your hair is very fitting. I like the pineapple hat and earrings too. The eyelashes and the lips are a bit much, though. The rest really meshed together well and looked pretty realistic (for a Sim photo), but the eyes and lips made it look cartoony (I know, sounds funny with the idea of a sims photo). They detracted from the high fashion appeal as opposed to helping it. I do applaud the attempt, the creativity, and the chosen fruit, though!

This makes me smile Amara! I take it you’re a pineapple? My fave! Mmmm. lol This is such a fun take on it, but man did your styling team go a bit overboard with the pineapple theme! I could probably deal with it if was just the pineapple hat and maybe the earrings, but the lips and the eyelashes really take it over the top. Your makeup artist should have just done makeup and let the accessories speak for the theme. It would have been nice to see some yellow in there too mimicking the inside of the fruit to break things up. They had such an opportunity to give you pineapple slices for earrings too. Anyway, I like the photo. It’s just a lot. Fun, but a lot.

Victoria Venice

God, that hair! Please keep it red!!!!!!! I love the contrast between the yellow and the red in this photo and I do really like how simple and subtle your team’s design for the lemon was. I like the addition of the nails too! You look flawless. Here’s the one thing that I have to mention, though, because it was brought to my attention…your lips. While that’s a fabulous idea, it looks like your team has taken a real-life photo and edited it onto your lips – which is technically against the rules (photo-skinning), but it is minor and only noticeable upon SUPER CLOSE inspection. It was only brought to my attention because of another contestant; I didn’t notice at first. I’m all for using ideas you find on the internet, but make them your own!

Oh Victoria you’re glowing in this! Nice eye contact, awesome makeup and it’s nice to see you as a redhead again! Now I can’t say that lemons springs to mind when looking at this. I see the color and I sorta see lemons on your lips? They look more like yellow dots though. I wish your stylist had did the shape of the lemon in your eye makeup or on the nails somewhere. I know they were trying to be subtle with the food choice, but it’s slightly too subtle. I do like your shot overall. You look gorgeous as usual and your team did great for the most part!

Baylee Jefferson

I am a lover of kiwi fruit! I really like the idea. Your hairstyle is…odd, but you are a beautiful girl and it works for the texture of the kiwi’s skin. I like the lips a lot and the earrings. I do think that the eyeshadow could have been a little bit better, though. Your makeup artist left it very thick and defined and I think a bit more blending needed to be done to give it a less gaudy look. I also wish you had some eyelashes! The angle of your pose is a little distorting as well, but overall, your team did a really good job of following the requirements and making it look high fashion.

Kiwi! One of my favorite fruits! I know your team was pressed for time, but I think you used your time wisely. It’s a bit simple, but the attention you paid to your makeup and the kiwi earring really makes this shine! I also like the idea of the hair matching the skin of the fruit. That was clever! I only wish you had more accessories. A chocker or some type of kiwi necklace would have been cute! I also think your team could have been a bit more imaginative with your background too. It’s so plain. It reminds of a yearbook photo backdrop. lol Nevertheless, I think you look super high fashion and beautiful in this. Nice job Baylee and co.

That eye contact is STUNNING! Your eyes are beautiful. I like the cute and creative idea you have going on here. You have a very exotic look and your skin tone is emphasized by the contrasting bright colors of your hair and the food chosen. The only thing I’m not a fan of is your background choice. Your background color is great, but the sprinkles add a bit too much to the whole photo. I think this would have rocked without those darn sprinkles, but overall, stunning work!
|
Haeju, you’re looking especially sweet in this shot! You look like ice cream Barbie or something. It’s all very cute! You really pop in this photo too! The makeup and styling is on point! The ice cream cone outfit and cherry earring especially made me smile! I might have left those sticks in your hair out, but I love everything else. Nice backdrop too with the sprinkles! This just screams fun and fierceness! Keep up the impressive work miss!

Cake pops – so pretty to look at, but man…they don’t always taste very good! Lol Anyway, you have a great look here. Your team did well with the makeup and your hair color. I really like your eyes! I have only one real complaint – the cake pop you’re holding. I’m on the fence about it because I’m not sure how I feel about your lipstick. I think the cake pop would have been good where it is if your makeup artist hadn’t added the sprinkles on your lips. Your lips would have been perfect without the cake pop blocking the sprinkles…I think a choice to go with one or the other was necessary here. Good work this round, overall!

I take your team was inspired by cake pops? I love those things if so, but I have a sweet tooth anyways. lol Marlee, I think you’re looking really cute in this. The hair color and the sprinkles on the lips is adorable. The makeup looks nice! Cute backdrop too! I just wish this was more high fashion. You look like you’re just hanging out eating cakepops or lollipops. You’re not really posing. I also hate how the cakepop/lollipop is floating in front of your face. It’s a cute idea, but ugh nooooo! It’s almost never a good idea to block the view of your face with a prop in a headshot. I hope your team remembers that for next time and focus on being more high fashion. I know you can do better!
